The adult <em>C. quinquefasciatus<\/em> is less than 0.5 cm long. They are brown with narrow cross bands on the abdomen and they have no white bands on the legs. <em>It <\/em>is one species can be found throughout tropical and temperate climates of the world and it belong to the <em>Culex pipiens<\/em> species complex.
